AI Career Copilot ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Career Information: Information you voluntarily provide to create resumes, cover letters, and other career documents, including work experience, education, skills, and job preferences.

Photos: If you use AI Photo Studio, photos you upload are processed by our AI partners to generate professional headshots. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.

Voice Data: If you use voice input, audio is converted to text on-device or via secure speech-to-text services. We do not store audio recordings.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics data including app usage patterns, feature usage frequency, and crash reports to improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To generate resumes, cover letters, interview questions, and other career documents
• To process photos for AI Photo Studio
• To provide AI-powered career recommendations
• To manage your subscription and payments (via Apple App Store)
• To improve the App through anonymous analytics
• To send important service updates (not marketing emails)

3. AI Processing

We use third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini) to process your career information and generate content. Your data is sent to these services only for the purpose of generating the requested content. We do not use your data to train AI models. 4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant cloud platform. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• AI Service Providers: To generate career content (as described in Section 3)
• Payment Processors: Apple handles all subscription payments. We do not have access to your payment card details.
• Analytics Providers: Anonymous usage data for app improvement
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export: Download your career documents at any time
• Correct: Update or correct your personal information
• Opt-out: Disable analytics in App settings

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
